Efeitos do ivermectin na coprofauna associada com bolos fecais dos bezerros tratados em condicões experimentais

A study was carried out to evaluate the colonization of cattle dung of bovine treated subcutaneously with ivermectin. Faeces of two groups of calves, one of them treated with ivermectin (0,2 mg/kg) and another without treatment, were collected 3,7,14 and 28 days after treatment and 21 faecal pats of each group were placed in plots of Brachiaria decumbens. On days 10, 30 and 60 after deposition, seven pats of each group were removed at random.Arthropods, mainly insects and acari, were less abundant in treated group.
