Relaciones troficas de los peces de un embalse patagónico, Provincia del Neuquén, Argentina

The present work detailed comparative study of trophic relations of fishes in Ramos Mexía reservoir, Neuquén province, was carried out during 1985 and 1986. The results obtained with multivariate analysis techniques indicate that the fishes are classified into the fallowing alimentarygroups: piscivorous, piscivorous- insectivorous, benthophagous, malacophagous and generalist carnivorous. The diet trends to more generalist and oportunist in the intermediate size. The longer individuais of Salmo trutta, Percichthys trucha and Patagonina hatcheri trend to decrease of diversity. Moreover was showed a separation between trophic niches of autoctonous and salmonids. Sut was registred a vigorous predation of this alloctonous taxa over the junenils of thats.
